The successful candidate will understand how to modernize and leverage technology in our operations, while centering our most marginalized students in our policy and process design to help us achieve our vision of equitable student success.

The Director of Registration and Records / Registrar serves as the official custodian of student records for our multi-campus college district, which serves over 60,000 students annually. As a key leader in Student Affairs, the Director provides oversight for registration and records policies, processes and systems, conferral of degrees and certificates, and ensures the accuracy and integrity of PCC student records. The Registrar provides leadership and direct supervision for a growing team of 10, including two office assistants, two student records coordinators, and 6 graduation/transfer credit evaluators.

This position is one of several openings at Portland Community College that will pilot a student affairs practitioner cohort model that seeks to further diversify the college’s student affairs team and advance our efforts towards achieving equitable student success. This cohort will join an educational community that values cultural competency and inclusive teaching and learning practices.
