The Oregon Chapter of ARMA is a chapter of ARMA International
(Association of Records Managers and Administrators, Inc.), a not-for-profit professional
association of over 10,000 records and information management professionals in the United
States, Canada, and around the world. The Oregon Chapter was chartered on May 20,
1969, as the 34th chapter of ARMA International. The Oregon Chapter of
ARMA consists of approximately 110 members throughout the state. Members come from
many different disciplines including government, education, high tech, legal, retail,
entertainment, utilities, banks and financial institutions, insurance, medical,
engineering, and historical preservation. The Chapter is also fortunate to have as
members a strong contingent of records management vendors.
Oregon Chapter Mission Statement
To provide education, research, and
networking opportunities to information professionals, to enable them to
use their skills and experience to leverage the value of records,
information, and knowledge as corporate assets and as contributors to
organizational success.
